After receiving a degree in Anthropology in 2008, Charles worked first as an AmeriCorps*VISTA Member at the City of Phoenix and next under a Valley of the Sun United Way grant at a transitional housing agency. He learned that small, determined, neighborhood-based organizations are the places where our communities are formed. He recently graduated from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at ASU in May, 2013.
